Episcia’s can be grown in hanging baskets. Hangings allow the plant to grow their stolons (runners) sideways. If you want to keep Episcia bushy, you may trim the stolons (runners).

How to take care of Episcia Plants?

Light: Episcia plants need bright indirect light to filter light.

Watering: Water regularly to keep soil moist at all times, but not too wet.

Potting Mixture: Episcia prefers well drained soil for potting. It is suggested that Episcia plants should be re-potted once a year with fresh soil.

Propagation: You can easily propagate Episica through cuttings (either leaf or stem), division and layering

Fertiliser: Feed with general houseplant fertiliser

Toxicity: Episcia are toxic if ingested and are poisonous to kids and pets.

Pruning: It's best to remove the small stolons (runners) sprouts and allow the plant to grow well in the initial stage. Episcia's grow very fast and also look thin if not actively pruned.
